Bev`s Better Burgers in Alachua

Love the food and the place .. but alachua county needs to get ahold of the pot smokers.. so bad in the parking lot today it made my stomach turn ..

Bev’s has redefined comfort food. They are my go to after a tough day. Absolute best burger in town!

I love Bev's Better Burgers. It's just a little fast food shack, but has everything you need & want from a fast food place but SO MUCH better that the big chains. I particularly like the burgers, fries, fish sandwich ("all the way") & onion rings. Their soft serve is so dense, even a small is hard to finish.

Average, get order wrong 3 times in a row, I stopped going and way overpriced, not sure why everyone loves this place. It's terrible

The food is hands down the best in Alachua. Best burgers and shakes. I will always love them for their food and friendly service. However, their customer service is greatly lacking recently. I enjoy bevs and have for years. But I’m so disappointed when I’m greeted at the window with the nastiest of attitudes from a lady with a Monroe piercing. She was snarky and snappy. I don’t recommend her taking orders if she doesn’t like dealing with people.

Bev's Better Burgers growing up was the best place in Alachua to get burgers. Not now! The main problem with the burgers is you can't finish a burger without biting into grissle. For me if that happens it ruins my appetite! Also the burger is so full of grease that the bun soaks it all up and the grease just runs down your face and the bun just falls completely apart. Also the chicken nuggets they sell for kids are the nastiest things ever! They are cheaply processed chicken nuggets and the "meat" is brown! They only thing worth getting here is breakfast food and the corn nuggets and funnel fries. Also the workers could use some customer service skills!! Their not very friendly and they don't like answering questions!

everything is amazing nothing compares to this

We were passing through on a trip to Tampa and wanted to support a small business. Bev’s didn’t disappoint! The hamburgers are so fresh and delicious. I loved my sweet potatoes fries! They provided very fast service and they were very busy!!

Just great simple burgers and food. Can't go wrong with stopping here. Not the quickest service but worth the wait, just don't go if you're short on time unless you call it in on the way there.

This would get 4 stars but the bread was very dry, no flavor. The best part was the fries,they were cooked and crisped to perfection. Chicken tenders tasted like your basic go to chicken. If your looking for a burger place in alachua this is a good recommendation 🍔🍟🍗

The Lady's are very respectful and very nice. I come here a lot.I really like there fish and onion rings,sweet tea and they cook everything when you order it. The food is really worth the wait. 😃

Classic burger taste and not those processed burgers

I was recommended this place by a local to the area. Bev’s was his #1 spot on his list, and I see why. The drive through was busy and groups of people were walking up to participate in the Bev’s experience. I didn’t even come at lunch time. I came around 3:30pm and it was busy. That is a GOOD THING! I didn’t wait too long, I ordered two Double Doubles and I could not be more pleased. The staff were helpful and to the point. They knew what they were doing, I could tell. I appreciate that in food service. Bev’s was everything I heard it would be and I honestly can’t wait to go back and try some more items on their menu. I love it when local food is actually good! Give Bev’s a shot!

I was recommended this place by my parents who live nearby and I have to say the burgers are delicious. Feel like home made burgers. There were many pictures of the place on the reviews so I decided to take a couple of pics of a double meat burger with cheese and bacon and the larges fries and onion rings that we got. We used the drive through and the people are very friendly. If you are from abroad let them know that you have to input your card pin for the card to go through. The waiting at the drive thru was a tad longer than normal but it was worth the wait.

Average burger joint. The ice cream is good. They had great cubins I quit going there when they stop selling them!

Burger overdone and bland. Customer svc sorely lacking. Pressured to tip. Total price not worth the long wait. Not sure why ppl come here. Maybe its the okra? Or they walk from nearby? Sigh.

Made to order burgers. Fried okra like grandma's. For some reason service seems to have slowed. It could be because it is a take out only in the midst of Covid.

It is the Gretest place. The crew are just the best, just love them all. Beautiful souls all of them Grest food ,so good .Always get the Double Double all the way with Fried Okra so good.

It's so annoying when a business is opened until 6pm, but stops serving at 5'55 p.m. Just saying.

This place is hands down the best! I had the best turkey burger I've ever had in my entire life. It was so nice sitting outside. The people were an absolute pleasure. 10 outta 10 would recommend. 10 outta 10will continue to go and enjoy myself.

Nice little hometown diner with great burgers and shakes. Typical southern cooking like pork, chicken, ribs, hot dogs, slaw, etc. They even have fried, Battered Bacon! Pretty decently priced. Get the burger!

Good burgers but not a fast food joint, as the other reviews state. But I do not mind waiting for a freshly made delicious burger.

Anything you get will be delicious. I recommend the fries over the onion rings

The staff were very friendly. The menu is simple and the prices are very reasonable. This place smashes the burgers I believe. The meat was very juicy and perfectly cooked. The fries here can stand alone on their own as a full meal. They are perfectly cooked and amazingly crispy. No refills on drinks.

Can't get through phone has been busy for the last 30 minutes. You need to upgrade . Food is good but the service is sub par at best. They move like turtles.

Absolutely love this place. I have been going here for years I don't know why I haven't thought about writing a review. They are not overpriced for the quality and taste of the food. Their shakes are the best. Just a little piece of advice, do not try to eat one of their burgers in your car 😂😂 they have a drive thru, walk up window with covered picnic tables, or you can call ahead to order. Their breakfast is bomb too. 💯💯💯
